Off The Rails are an Leith/ Edinburgh based rock/blues band (playing mainly covers).
The band consists of founder member Rohan (guitar/vocals), John (bass/vocals), Jeanne (drums), Akin (part-time guitar/vocals), Miles (guitar) and Mairi & Sarah (backing vocals). THe band now has a more fluid line up than previously.
Off The Rails were formed in 1994... partly by accident at Bonnington Resource Centre. They are very much a community based rock/blues band. In 2008, Miles returned to the band this time on guitar to deputise for Akin. He joined a solid core of Rohan, John and Jeanne. Mairi and Sarah have sung backing vocals on the odd ocassion. They certainly add to the sound and will hopefully be a more regular feature.
